Session Description

As part of the Top 10 Tech Tools, Blackboard is positioned to be one of the best tools that are offered at MGSD. This course will show advanced techniques in Learn such as adaptive release, module based learning, as well as objective based learning goals in a way that can impact your classroom right away.

Learner Outcomes
By the end of the sessions participants will know / be able to: 
  • Create groups in Blackboard Learn
  • Assign Content to Specific Groups of Students
  • Manage Gradebook to assist in differenation

Activity 1:

Participants will experience what it is like to be a student in a differentiated Blackboard Classroom learning multiplication.

Activity 2:

Intro / discussion about ways to use Blackboard to differentiate (Presentation / Padlet interaction) 

Activity 3: 

Participants will be given the choice of how to learn groups, users and advanced settings in Blackboard to differentiate. This information will be available for them to reference later in the year.
