So you and your students have all this data from various sources (EVAAS, IXL, My Math Lab, iStation, iReady, etc.) what do we do with it? This session will cover how to create and utilize Student Data trackers and reflection in the classroom. Build a student data tracker and implement a student data tracker into your classroom for the upcoming school year.

Activity 1:
On each of the tables, there is a topic. Browse through the options and sit at the table with the topic that you feel most comfortable with.
Follow a link to an answer garden. What are the first one or two words that come to your mind when you think of data?
Activity 2:
Within your groups, brainstorm your answers to the following three questions on your piece of chart paper…
What do you already know about data tracking?
What do you hope to gain from this training today?
What are your biggest fears or greatest concerns?
Be ready for one person from each group to share out!
Activity 3:
Look at the examples of the data trackers shared and choose one. Make a copy and play! Also, put together resources for students to use to watch, practice, and assess as a personalized learning plan.
